    Guys,

I contacted Rhino directly and they told me I had to send it in to have them fix it. I complained about not having the unit long after the year warranty expired and they agreed to repair it for free as long as I paid shipping both ways. I was ok with that. I sent it in and they sent in back in about a week which I thought was pretty fast. They didn't tell me what was wrong but being an engineer myself I believe they just rebuilt the firmware which I thought was corrupted in the beginning. It has worked fine ever since.

That's unfortunate. Mine is past 1 year :(

So was mine but not that much past. Give them a call. They were good to me and they might take care of you.

I spoke with customer service and you can send it in for repair. If your unit is over 1 year old you need to cover the cost of shipping both ways and parts. They claim it's fairly cheap but I have not received my unit back yet so I'm not aware how pricey it is.

Yes I guess that is their answer....however this is an almost brand new unit. And the second time we have had issues - the first time the Rhino Arc battery would not charge - there we also had to send a brand new unit back.

    I am so disappointed...

Hello all, I was having the same issue that is being described in this thread.

I made a video with the solution, here: https://youtu.be/6FDjUyZDHWU

In short, I charged the motion control unit with a 15 volt charger, rather than the 13.5 volt charger that came with the system.

I hope this is able to help someone out there.

My understanding of the reason this is happening is that the power adapter does not provide enough power the kick start the controller once the battery is totally drained - You can another 12v power adapter and it should start working again. Once it is about 10% charged, you can then use the original power adapter.

    Good luck
