When shooting a timelapse, the belt may slip when at an incline. Each time the carriage stops to take an image, the motor shuts off (power saving mode) and will cause the carriage to slip. This is expected behavior. This should not happen in live video, however.
The slider can be center mounted on a tripod, ROV's center mounting plate has both 1/4-20" and 3/8" thread options.
If you're not using a tripod, ROV's legs can be extended to place on the ground. If you're setting ROV on uneven terrain, you can adjust each leg to set up ROV how you want it. The legs also have dash marks so that the legs are extended evenly.
If on a flat surface, you can fold the legs and simply set the slider flat on it's pads installed on the bottom of the slider.
Carriage thread size:
3/8". Compatible with Rhino's Phone mount and Ball head.
